Don’t Have an Alcoholic Beverage … Gamble!

If you like to have a beverage ever so often, keep your money at home if you plan to do your drinking in a casino. I am serious. Empty your handbag, your billfold, and leave all cash, credit cards and chequebooks back at the hotel. Grab only the cash you expect to use on refreshments, tipping and only the pocket change you anticipate to burn and leave the remainder behind.

Contemptuous? Not really. Realistic more like. You can have a win after a boozy evening out with your compatriots and be lucky enough to hit a long toss at a hot craps table. Hang on to that story considering that it’s as short-lived as it gets if you consistently drink alcohol and bet. The pair simply don’t mix.

Keeping your moolah out of the casino might be a bit dramatic, but precautionary measures for dramatic actions is a requirement. If you bet to succeed, then don’t consume alcohol and play. If you like to burn your $$$$ without a concern, then consume all the no charge booze your stomach can handle, but don’t take credit cards and cheques to throw into the mix of going after squanderings after your drunk as a skunk head throws away all the cash!

Allow me to take this a single step further. Don’t drink and then head on the internet to gamble in your preferred internet casino either. I enjoy a beverage from the comfort of my condo, however seeing that I am hooked up through Neteller, Firepay and have plastic credit at my fingertips, I can not drink alcohol and bet.

What’s the reason? Even though I do not consume alcohol to excess, when I consume alcohol, it is clearly enough to blur my common sense. I wager, so I do not consume alcohol when betting. If you are a drinker, don’t gamble when you do. When mixed, both create a dangerous, and costly, cocktail.
