The confirmed number of Kyrgyzstan gambling halls is something in question. The state, in common with most of the ex-USSR, has experienced something of a rapid conversion to capitalistic system. The Wild East, you could say, to refer to the lawless ways of the Wild West an aeon and a half back.
Kyrgyzstan’s casinos are honestly worth checking out, therefore, as a piece of social research, to see cash being wagered as a form of collective one-upmanship, the apparent consumption that Thorstein Veblen wrote about in nineteeth century u.s.a..
